This is an example showing data being drilled down to show
progressively more detail. Although there is no limit to how many tiers of
data could be shown, it is usually considered that three clicks is about
the most that the user should be expected to make to get to a piece of
data that he/she requires. Any more than this and it can be tiresome to
use and confusing to read. Of course, there may well be situation where
this is not possible, but it is a good rule of thumb to aim for. |
